Ebay's so-called Buyer Protection program is useless. I used PayPal to pay for an item; for some reason PayPal defaulted to an old, non-working shipping address of mine. I caught the error within moments of my payment and emailed the buyer with the correct address. No response. Emailed again with correct address. No response. Emailed a day or so later. No response. I tried to find out where the item was; sure enough, according to ebay, the item went to the old address. I'm friendly with the people at that address -- who know nothing about any package.
